Austin Baptist Chapel - Angel House Soup Kitchen - Austin, TX
As part of our commitment to serving the communities where we operate, the CapRidge Austin corporate office recently participated in a Day of Service at the Austin Baptist Chapel Angel House Soup Kitchen.
During our time at Angel House, the team worked together to prepare, pack, and distribute more than 1,000 lunches in a single day. The experience was both impactful and educational, offering firsthand insight into the daily efforts required to support individuals facing food insecurity. We left the day with a renewed sense of purpose and the satisfaction that comes from meaningful service.
Angel House Soup Kitchen is a human service organization built on compassion, dignity, and respect. While it is not a food pantry, Angel House serves a hot meal every weekday to individuals experiencing hardship. Beyond meeting basic needs such as food and clothing, the organization strives to be a positive and healing presence by offering encouragement and support to every guest they serve.
Each person who comes to Angel House is welcomed without regard to race, age, gender, national origin, religious preference, disability, or income. This inclusive and respectful approach is central to their mission and deeply aligned with CapRidge’s values.
CapRidge is honored to support organizations that make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. Opportunities like this reinforce our commitment to service and reflect our belief that strong communities are built through collaboration, compassion, and action.
