CapRidge Day of Service volunteers in Denver dedicated their time and effort to support the Food Bank of the Rockies. Their efforts included packing meals for schools and sorting frozen foods and meats into different categories for distribution to various organizations. These contributions will provide approximately 6,875 meals to those in need.

Lori Moriarty, a Denver-area Property Manager, remarked on the impact of their work, stating, “We did several things – we packed meals for the schools, we placed frozen foods/meats into different categories/boxes to provide to organizations which will provide 6,875 meals.”

The Food Bank of the Rockies is a non-profit organization that provides food to people in need across Colorado and Wyoming. The organization relies on volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, including packing meals, sorting food, and distributing food to partner organizations.

The dedication of the CapRidge Day of Service volunteers highlights the importance of community involvement in addressing food insecurity and providing essential support to those facing hunger.
