CapRidge In The Community – Rochester

CapRidge Partners is proud to continue its partnership with UR Medicine’s Noyes Health in Geneseo, NY, and once again demonstrate our unwavering commitment to giving back to the community. During our recent Day of Service, we worked alongside Noyes Health, a vital healthcare facility serving over 13,000 patients annually. In January 2024, Noyes upgraded its Urgent Care unit, introducing new medical equipment to provide top-notch care to patients.

One of the standout moments of this initiative was the continued involvement of Jerry Walsh, a dedicated CapRidge employee who has volunteered at Noyes Health for the second consecutive year. Jerry’s contributions to the Physical Therapy department were instrumental in ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients. Her efforts, which included sterilizing equipment and assisting with clerical tasks, were essential to supporting the smooth operation of the hospital.

Noyes Health plays a critical role in the community, seeing and treating over 13,000 patients annually. Volunteers are a key part of the Noyes Health care system and contribute significantly to the mission of the organization. Every year, volunteers donate thousands of hours of service, offering essential care and support to patients, their families, visitors, and hospital staff. The dedication of volunteers like Jerry adds an extra dimension of care and compassion to Noyes Health’s services.

Jerry’s experience this year was particularly meaningful as she witnessed firsthand the impact of the recent upgrades at Noyes Health, including the addition of new medical equipment. “It’s clear that these improvements are significantly enhancing the quality of care patients receive,” Jerry noted, reflecting on the advancements that are making a difference in patient outcomes.

While patient confidentiality limited the opportunity to capture photos, Jerry shared that working alongside the dedicated team at Noyes Health was incredibly fulfilling. “Their commitment to providing exceptional care is evident in every interaction,” she observed, emphasizing the dedication and professionalism of the hospital staff.

The team at Noyes Health expressed their gratitude for Jerry Walsh and CapRidge Partners’ ongoing support. In a statement from the Head of Volunteering, they said, “It was a pleasure to have Jerry Walsh back with the Noyes team again.
