Bill Knox
About
Mr. Knox is an experienced alternative investment management and global capital markets professional serving in client advisory and management roles for over three decades. Mr. Knox managed client relationships at several investment banking institutions, including Goldman Sachs, William Blair and as a partner at Furman Selz. Since transitioning to investment management, Mr. Knox managed equity risk at TIG Advisors as a long/short equity research analyst and then joined the firm’s senior management, responsible for firm-wide strategic initiatives, including sourcing and vetting prospective new investment managers, fund strategies as well as oversight of the investor relations group. Following, he led the investor relations effort at FCO Advisors (a credit focused investment manager) and then joined, as a senior member of the client development team at KLS Diversified Asset Management (an alternative and private credit firm), which managed over $3.5bn.
Outside of the financial services industry, Bill is active with a number of non-profits, serving as investment chair and executive board member at the Community Fund, a Westchester, NY organization serving as the financial support for several dozen local charities. Bill is a passionate supporter of youth football having coached for 7 years and serving as the Treasurer of the Westchester Youth Football League. Bill is a father of three boys and is an avid golfer. Bill graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in History and remains involved in University affairs as a volunteer alumni interviewer.
