Dan Terpening

Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Dan is a graduate of the University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign’s Gies College of Business and launched his commercial real estate career in the gateway market of Chicago. There, Dan spent six years with Heitman, a leading investment manager for some of the largest institutions in the world.

Dan has extensive experience in sourcing deals, acquisition and disposition transactions, asset management, and client reporting. At CapRidge, Dan oversees all Atlanta, Houston, and Nashville operations, assists on various special company projects, along with directing the analyst team.

A Texan for over a decade, Dan resides in Southeast Austin with his wife Ivy, two daughters, Scarlett and Keira, and dog Teddy.

Dan is a member of ULI, RECA, and an active volunteer with the Austin Parks Foundation. When he’s not chasing his kids around, Dan enjoys working out and watching all things NBA and the Cowboys.
