Dan Terpening

Dan Terpening directs the investment focus on the various funds while overseeing the deal team. With six years prior at Heitman, a premier investment manager for global institutions, He has extensive experience in sourcing deals, acquisition and disposition transactions, asset management, and client reporting. At CapRidge, Dan oversees all Atlanta, Houston, and Nashville operations, assists on various special company projects, and directs the analyst team.

A Texan for over a decade, he is an active member of ULI and RECA and volunteers with the Austin Parks Foundation. Originally from Chicagoland, Dan graduated from the University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign’s Gies College of Business before launching his commercial real estate career in Chicago.

Dan resides in Southeast Austin with his wife Ivy, two daughters, Scarlett and Keira, and dog Teddy.  When he’s not chasing his kids around, Dan enjoys working out and watching all things NBA and the Cowboys.
